So Titanfall 2 is a big step up from its predecessor. There are also more modes in multiplayer which is always a plus.

Each one has their own strategic advantage and disadvantage so the playing field feels level. Again I didn't play the first one but from what I have heard there wasn't titan customization as there are 6-8 different titan classes to choose from. It felt fun and fresh trying to evade titan gunfire while also going after other pilots. I am not a big fan of multiplayer but this one actually looks cool. The multiplayer is great and actually has replay value. If EA continues to build the franchise (you know they will) I think Jack and BT could be compared to the relationship of Cortana and Master Chief. You get two options of dialogue and that sets up the one liners and other humorous gags. The game does well with the titan and pilot interactions. I know they are focused on multiplayer and everything but we need an expanded story for Titanfall 3. The only real downside to the story is that is too short! I didn't track it but I think it took me between 5-7 hours to complete. There are some annoying instances like titan mobility in closed spaces but even that is a big deal. The titan battles in the campaign were fun for the most part. The robotic enemies posed more of a challenge but not by much. I could honestly run around and melee them all out. I played on the Hard difficulty and the regular soldiers were pretty useless. well now that I think about it was a piece of cake. Those are probably my favorite parts in the game. There are moments when your entire terrain can be flipped and you must navigate through. The campaign's story is pretty straight forward and the missions use the game's mechanics quite well.

The latter two are more well know and spend a whole lot more money on advertising so Titanfall 2 was kind of forgotten on its release. That being said I think this game wins out at least on the three way battle between Battlefield 1, and Infinite Warfare. Let me just start off by saying that I didn't play the original Titanfall game as it was exclusive to the X-BOX. Finally, the most important thing, something that you should pay attention to - your Titan's health bar. On the right, there is information on the selected weapon and time remaining until the core ability is reloaded.

Icons and display the Titan's selected ability, and the time remaining until the artillery reloads before it is used again. At the bottom, there is information about the course of the current game - remaining time and the current score. Again, in the upper-left corner, there is the minimap that shows your current position as well as the enemies and allies around. The view from Titan is similar to that of the Pilot. The icon showing time remaining until you can initiate the mode in which the Titan deals increased damage. Ordnance - the selected special artillery, Titan's rocket and the bar that determines time remaining until the next use.Ħ. Tactical ability - an icon that symbolizes a specific ability of the Titan, and the time remaining to load it.ĥ. Information on the game mode, score and the remaining time.Ĥ. If you deplete all "health" your Titan is doomed.ģ. The Titan's health bar - the bar that informs you of the remaining "health" of the Titan. Additionally, with the Minion Detectors perk you will see small orange dots on the map, which symbolize the AI controlled enemies ( Grunts & Spectres).Ģ. Minimap - displays the enemy Titans (big red triangles) and allied ones (blue), the enemy players (big red dots) and the allied ones (smaller, blue triangles).
